Two special celebrations at St Paul’s

On Sunday, 23rd January, folk gathered at St Paul’s to celebrate two special celebrations.

The morning service celebrated the parish’s patronal festival, remembering the Conversion of St Paul.  The Revd Jonathan Brewster led the Communion Service, and members from the Fell congregation joined us for the occasion.

The service was followed by a Jacobs Join lunch to which everyone had contributed, but before the lunch we were treated to sherry and cake to celebrate a significant birthday for Bishop Nigel.  Jonathan gave the toast, and all sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to a very special man.
