Special announcement

The following announcement was made in all the churches of the Team this morning, 14th January.

“The Bishop of Penrith (as acting Bishop of Carlisle) has appointed

the Reverend David Wilmot,

at present Rector of Grasmere; Vicar of Rydal; and Chaplain to Rydal Hall, as Team Vicar of the Benefice of Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry,

with special responsibility for

Grange-over-Sands and Field Broughton with Lindale.”

No date has yet been given for his licensing, but we expect it to be in the latter part of April.

We are delighted with the news, and look forward to welcoming David and his family to Grange, and to his ministry among us.
