Parish Magazine for September and October

This time the magazine is a double issue for two months.

It is also the first magazine under our new Benefice of Grange-over-Sands and Field Broughton with Lindale – the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry is now suspended.

As usual, plenty of interesting copy to keep you informed of just what is and will be happening in our parish and further afield.

As well as details of our services, special items this time include the following.

• Details of our Harvest thanksgiving, with an invitation to review our giving now that we have our own Vicar in residence
• A report on Charles Edmondson’s August concert and a poster of his next one in October
• A report with photos of Margaret and Doug Ratcliffe’s final service with us before they moved from Grange
• No. 25 in our series of ‘How we came to Grange’, this time written by Linda, our parish administrator
• A lesson to be learnt from the Olympics ?

• And, as ever, Andrew Little keeps us up to date with his monthly report on rainfall
