Fun and Friendship – Celebrations

On a very hot and sunny Wednesday afternoon, seventeen young people stayed on at school to enjoy fun and friendship with members of St Paul’s.  The theme was ‘Celebration’, and the Rev’d Annette Miller asked what ‘celebration’ meant to them and asked how Jesus celebrated with his friends.

Four craft tables were set out, and a busy time was spent – making crowns, bunting and flags, decorating masks, and dipping marshmallows into melted chocolate and sprinkles.

The time began with a song and ended with prayers, before the children went away proudly taking home the things they had made.
