Celebrating Palm Sunday

Although neither St Paul’s or the Fell Churches were open for worship, members of both congregations received a palm cross to mark Palm Sunday.  These had been made from phormium leaves growing in the garden of one of the small band of volunteers who learnt how to make them from a Youtube video on the internet!

They were attached with a simple card bearing the words:

“Hosannah – blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord”
