Harvest Festival Eucharist with Licensing

On Sunday, 2nd October, St Paul’s celebrated their Harvest Festival at a special service to include the licensing of the Revd Annette Miller by the Rt Revd Rob Saner-Haigh, Bishop of Penrith.

The service was conducted by the Revd Jonathan Brewster, and Annette was licensed as Associate Priest to the proposed new benefice serving the parishes of Grange, Field Broughton, Haverthwaite, Staveley and Finsthwaite.

The church was beautifully decorated for harvest, and the Primary School had prepared a special display.

Over 68 people attended, with 56 staying to enjoy a Jacob’s Join lunch afterwards.
