The Solo Diners

20 people signed up for the Solo lunch on Sunday, 11^th September, and we all gathered at The Pheasant in Allithwaite to enjoy a meal together that we had not had to prepare and wash up afterwards!  We were seated in the new extended dining room with views across to Humphrey Head, and there was plenty of choice on the menu.  Most of us opted for the ‘Roast of the Day – beef or turkey – and Andrew treated himself to a Knickerbocker Glory! A happy occasion for fellowship.

A happy occasion, and one that will be repeated in two months’ time.
